Our Services

Our dietitians are trained in various areas of health to provide you a space where your entire families’ nutrition and health can be cared for. Each of our providers have different counseling styles and with over 15 years combined clinical practice, we believe in meeting you where you are, shared decision making, and consistent follow up to create habit change over time.

Preconception

Nutrition focus prior to conception can increase fertility, decrease pregnancy complications and change the way your genes are expressed in your offspring. We believe that all couples should consider preconception nutrition counseling in their list of musts prior to trying to conceive.

Nuestro dietista de habla hispana puede brindarle atencion Dede un origen Latino y en us idioma nativo. Nos apasiona proporcionar atencion accessible sin importer el idioma que se hable.

  • What is Medical Nutrition Therapy?
Medical nutrition therapy (MNT) is a natural way to treat your health through nutrition interventions, counseling and education. MNT takes the whole picture into account, considering a patient’s background, history, lab work, medications, supplements, lifestyle, and preferences into account to create a nutrition care plan to treat and/or manage a disease state.
  • What is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist?
Registered Dietitians, RD’s or RDN’s, are medically trained professionals with a bachelor's or master's degree and 900+ hours of clinical training. Registered dietitian nutritionists have to pass a board exam from the CDR and maintain yearly continuing education.
  • What can you treat?
We have several different dietitians with training in life stages from preconception on. We can treat most patients but have special training in preconception/fertility, pregnancy, infant and pediatric nutrition, feeding and eating disorders, PCOS, and diabetes. We also have a Spanish speaking dietitian!
  • Is medical nutrition therapy covered by my insurance?
Many insurances cover medical nutrition therapy and you may even have preventative nutrition benefits! We recommend that you call your insurance and ask the following questions about your nutrition therapy benefits: Do you have preventative coverage? If so, what is covered for preventative coverage? How many sessions are covered? What is covered under medical benefits? What part are you responsible for under medical services? We can also check insurance coverage for you, but it may take 72 hours for us to do so.
  • Are there cancellation fees if I am unable to make my appointment?
We ask all patients to keep a card on file for costs associated with services. This may include cancellation, no-show, or late appointment change fees ($50 if no-showed, rescheduled, or cancelled within 24 hours of appointment time). You will receive an appointment reminder 48 hours prior to your appointment to help you manage this as well as allowing us to use our availability for other patients if you do need to cancel.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
